Stenop.es is an experimental visual project using a primitive technique: The Camera Obscura. Applied to an original scale, the project is based on projection from the outside to the inside. Two layers are merging while the landscapes takes place in the interior’s intimacy.
Romain Alary and Antoine Levi are both photographes and cameraman and this website is the outcome of one of their common work.
Taking pictures of an apartment is a good way to start because it has many angles and interesting spots to shoot at. Last year, I travelled to Argentina and stayed in different buenos aires apartments during the whole month. These flats were so luxurious and out of the ordinary to me, that I took photos of every part of them!
